Skunks galore on Etsy for fun!

Thanks to Lisa Comperry of Lcomperry shop on Etsy "The Wandering Shutterfly" for adding my "Skunks' Laundry day image to her treasury of skunks on Etsy (a great place to buy unique handmade gifts) here's the link:

I love skunks, a little torn over the skunk fur mittens, while I'm not opposed to fur, hard not to think of the little skunks that made em.

For Illustration Friday's theme, "Fuel" I pulled out a little painting I did. "Last Chance for Gas".

Makin' Sock toys

Having fun making some plain white sock animals, now courageous enough to branch out and make some colorful ones. I got a great book that has inspired me to venture into three dimensional plush art... "Socks Appeal" by Brenna Maloney. I'll picture her book when I succeed in making one of her patterns.

"Checking In" or "Highway Host"

Happy New Year one and all. This is what I spent the first half of December working on for a collector who commissioned it, thanks Jen! A very large work that has inspired me to go on to more large format story telling. Please let me know what you think. I wish it was possible to show in all it's large glory, here's from sketch to final, though it's tinyness on screen doesn't do it justice.
